[#ThrowbackThusday]

Don’t worry, y’all. I have not gone through a breakup recently and I am not going through depression (though being without a job thanks to restaurants closing to slow the spread of #COVID19 is definitely something that I am not happy about).

The reason I chose this song for today’s feature is that, recently, I heard Gummy’s cover version of the song and I absolutely love it.

She performed this last year, May 18th, 2019, on an episode of “Yoo HeeYeol’s Sketchbook,” and she totally hit the feels.

Gummy, whose real name is Park JiYeon, is known for many heartfelt songs, especially in OSTs, so this song perfectly fits her voice and ballad style.

Yoo HeeYeol’s Sketchbook is a live music/talk-show program hosted by Yoo HeeYeol, also known as his one-man band, TOY. The show has been airing since April 2009 and is still currently airing every Friday at 11:25 p.m. KST on KBS2.

I only recently found out about this show, but have been listening to a lot of the covers artists have been doing. Expect a lot more sharing of these covers and their original counterparts as I am obsessed with them these days.

Have a song you want to see covered on any daily post? Feel free to send me suggestions! I love hearing new songs and artists.
