ONCE!! If you haven’t had enough of TWICE’s hit summer single, “MORE & MORE,” know they’re about to do just that.

During their live online concert, “Beyond LIVE — TWICE: World in a Day,” held on August 9 via Naver’s V Live, TWICE’s members Mina and JuHyo revealed they will be releasing an English version of “MORE & MORE.” The announcement was made after the performance of what’s about to become the original version of the song.

The nine girl group was the first JYP Entertainment artist to be featured in the Beyond LIVE concert series. With concerts around the world indefinitely postponed, “Beyond LIVE Corporation” is the latest collaboration between two of South Korea’s big three entertainment companies, SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, in an effort to increase interaction between artists and fans amid the coronavirus pandemic that has spread around the world.

Their ninth mini-album, “MORE & MORE,” has broken numerous records since its release on June 1. It was only early last month, in July, that the ninth mini-album “MORE & MORE” broke a record by selling more than 200,000 albums on its first day of release and over 563,000 by July 2, the highest number of album sales for a girl group on the Gaon Charts. Even before its release, on May 27, it was reported that TWICE had broken their set record for stock pre-orders by surpassing 500,000 pre-orders.

The official music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube within 12 days, making it their quickest video to reach that milestone and the 14th to gather 100 million views.

Despite all these achievements, the official music video was initially criticized and accused of plagiarism. Sculptor Davis McCarty claimed that the colourful glass sculpture, actually named Pulse Portal, seen towards the end of the video is his original work of art. JYP responded and addressed the situation through talks with the artist. They also vowed that they will implement a new system to prevent these things from happening.

Need TWICE the excitement? JYP also recently confirmed that the ladies are getting ready for a comeback this October. I am terribly curious about what their next track will be like.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, here’s the music video for “MORE & MORE”.
